Who are we?
Boys’ Brigade is a Christian uniformed body for children.
The 2nd Subang Jaya Company (BB2SJ) was established in July 2000 under the umbrella of The Boys’ Brigade in Malaysia and we are sponsored by First Baptist Church, Subang Jaya.
For BB2SJ, the age group we focus on is between 8 to 17 years old. This may differ with other BB companies.
What do we believe in?
We are driven by the Object of the Boys’ Brigade which is:
The advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Members and
the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect
and all that tends towards a true Christian character.
Our Christian beliefs align with our sponsoring church. You may read this Article of Faith to get a better understanding.
Those beliefs influence our activities where we help our members achieve the BB Object through meaningful, enjoyable and educational programmes which covers Christian spiritual growth along with physical and social development with Discipline.
What do we do?
We operate on Saturdays from January/February to October/November every year.
Our regular Saturday meetings are known as parades typically starts at 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The activities involved in a regular Saturday parade are:
